      Jonathan Dawkins has been appointed as the new Head of Sales for The Waterdale Group.

      The Waterdale Group is very pleased to announce that Jonathan Dawkins has accepted the post of Head of Sales for the Group. Jonathan joined the Waterdale team over 18 months ago to manage the launch of Ardent 24, its hosted managed service offering for the Sage and Microsoft Dynamics AX market place and has been instrumental in delivering a number of successful projects.

      Jonathan will be responsible for delivering the Group-wide sales strategy and ambitious sales growth expected in 2011. He comments, "I am very excited to be given this opportunity within The Waterdale Group. Whilst 2009 and the early part of 2010 was challenging, we are already experiencing renewed levels of interest in our range of solutions. I firmly believe that with confidence slowly returning The Waterdale Group is ideally placed to support emerging businesses in their IT strategy decision-making. Now is the time to develop strong go-to-market strategies and deliver IT solutions that will bolster UK business over the next few years."

      Jonathan joined the Group with more than 18 years experience in the software industry, with a focus on delivering applications to a hosted model. Prior to joining , Jonathan was a Sales Consultant at retail EPoS systems provider PCMS Group Plc where he spent five years converting qualified prospects into clients. Prior to this, he worked as a Product Sales Manager for 10 years at Open Computing (which then became OpenPSL after being acquired by PSL) managing a team and promoting individual products to new customers.

      Intellisell v3.1.0 Released

      Intellisell Version 3.1 has now been released; this version features a new improved and faster web interface and full multi-lingual support. The enhanced features and improvements for this release are:

      Multiple language support
      Full support for all languages is now offered in all parts of the website and products.

      Web Optimisation
      Intellisell has been streamlined to give faster loading times, and allows faster customisation.

      Usability enhancements
      Intellisell has been redesigned to be easier to use and incorporates new website ‘assist’ functionality to guide the end user through ordering.

      New basket options
      There are now more product display options.

      New image enlarge option
      A fast, new image enlarge script has been added to speed up product review.

      Improved browser support
      As well as taking advantage of the latest features provided by modern browsers Intellisell now incorporates backwards support of these features.

      Mobile Safari
      Web browser has been added to the list of supported browsers for iPad users.

      Google Analytics support
      Tracks visits to your website and records sales information to help in optimising the sales potential of your solution.

      Ravensden select Intellisell for online push

      Ravensden Plc, a leading supplier of animal-themed toys and gifts to the leisure, wholesale and promotional markets across Europe, have just gone live on their Intellisell eCommerce site.

      Already an established Sage 1000 user, Ravensden wanted to offer its existing client base a secure online ordering facility to make dealing with the company fast and reliable and available 24 hours a day.

      It would also provide the company with valuable up sell and cross sell opportunities without incurring any additional administration costs to the business.

      Intellisell v3.0.8 Released

      Intellisell v 3.0.8 is now released. You can now benefit from even greater features including:

      Secure Employee Access
      Enable your administration staff to submit orders for any of your customers quickly and securely from any computer with a browser and an internet connection.

      Miscellaneous Login
      Set a global account that gives the ability to submit orders for potential 'one off' customers, without the need for creating a new customer in your ERP system.

      Multiple Warehouses / Order Splitting
      Import products into Intellisell from multiple warehouses and offer your full catalogue to your customers. Once a multiple warehouse order is placed this can be automatically split, so all used warehouses then have their own order to action.

      Multiple Product Location
      Intellisell now gives the ability to list products under multiple categories, allowing products that fall under several attributes to be found in more than one place.

      Db Archive (Version One) Integration
      Intellisell can now integrate with Db Archive and provides the benefit of automated storage of your online generated invoices.

      Improved Sage Pay Integration
      Our Sage Pay functionality has been improved to allow more flexibility in payment modes; you can now edit the facility and manage the way in which customers can pay. This can be either on account and or by debit or credit card.

      Improved Carriage System
      The carriage system now has the facility for more complex carriage pricing options featuring a new CMS panel to help you easily manage and update the carriage options.

      Intellisell v3.0.5 Released

      Intellisell 3.0.5 has just been released. This release represents a full release for the CMS project and an incremental release for the web project.

      Sage Pay Integration
      Your customers can now utilise the Sage Pay functionality within Intellisell to pay online for goods or against their account. By linking your Intellisell website to an active Sage Pay account, a customer can select to reduce their debt or pay for orders using a Debit or Credit Card.

      Economic Order Quantity and Pack Size Control
      Intellisell now supports the configuration of up to 3 levels of pack size (pack, inner and outer). Allowing you to configure and manage exactly how your products can be bought and to alter the discounts or prices depending on the volume ordered.

      CMS Product Maintenance
      Intellisell now has more features to edit, maintain and upload media and technical details against products.

      Van-Line sold on Intellisell

      Company purchase Intellisell solution

      Van-Line, part of the Volvox Group Ltd, a leading distributor of automotive parts has just purchased Intellisell V3 from ecommerce specialists, Intellisell. With over 5000 lines in stock the company saw an opportunity to increase its audience and provide its clients with an easy online route to its products.       Ravensden purchase Intellisell

      Company set to grow online sales

      Ravensden Plc, a leading supplier of animal-themed toys and gifts to the leisure, wholesale and promotional markets, have purchased an online ecommerce solution from Intellisell. The solution, designed specifically for the Sage user, will provide an integrated web ordering site that will increase the ease and efficiency of placing orders with the company. Michael Papé, Director comments, "We actually saw a demonstration from another Intellisell customer and knew that we could benefit from this product. We can open up our product range to more companies online and it provides us with the opportunity to up sell and cross sell using visual prompts.
